How does the campaign process work from start to finish?
Our campaign process is straightforward and artist-friendly:
1.
Pick the promotion package that fits your goals and send us your song link (Spotify or another platform) along with any info about your genre or target audience.
2.
Our team quickly reviews your submission to ensure we can truly help your track. We typically respond within 1-2 business days. If we’re confident we can get you great results, we approve the campaign (and only then do we move forward with payment). If for some reason your song isn’t a good fit (rare cases, like platform policy issues or a very niche targeting challenge), we’ll let you know and you won’t be fully charged.
3.
Once approved, our marketing experts create the ad content and set up the campaign. You don’t have to lift a finger – we handle the technical setup, targeting, and budgeting. Campaigns usually go live within a few days after approval. We’ll notify you as soon as your ads are up and running.
4.
As the campaign runs, real listeners will see your ads and click through to hear your music. You can monitor the progress in real time (we provide a reporting dashboard or updates). We keep an eye on performance daily and optimize as needed to get you the best results.
5.
After the campaign, we’ll give you a summary of the results and insights. You keep all the new fans, streams, and data gained. No ongoing obligations – though many artists love the results and come back for more!
How long does it take to launch my campaign?
We move fast so you don’t have to wait long. Once you place an order, we aim to review and approve your song within 1-2 business days. After approval, your campaign is typically set up and launched within another 2-3 business days. In total, most campaigns start running within about a week of your order (often sooner).
Note:
We operate Monday through Friday, so if you order on a weekend or holiday, we’ll get started on the next business day. We know you’re eager to see results, so we do everything we can to get your campaign live quickly while still doing it right.
Do you run the ads through my account?
Nope — we handle everything from our own Meta business account and ad manager. That means the ads appear as third-party recommendations, which feels more organic to new listeners and avoids the “self-promo” vibe artists often want to avoid.
Do you accept every song for promotion?
We truly wish we could help every single artist, but to maintain quality we only approve songs that we believe we can promote effectively.
During the review stage, we listen and consider factors like song quality, genre, and whether it complies with ad platform rules (for example, overly explicit content might face ad restrictions).
If your song isn’t approved for a campaign, don’t be discouraged – it doesn’t mean your music isn’t good! It may just not be the right fit for our current channels or strategies. In this case, you won’t be charged at all.
You’re welcome to submit a different track, or ask us for feedback and try again later. Our goal is to ensure every campaign we run has a strong chance of success.
How long will my campaign run for?
Campaign durations depend on the package you select. As a general idea:
- Small Pack (~CHF 300 Ad Budget): ~1–3 weeks
- Medium Pack (~CHF 600–700 Ad Budget): ~2–3 weeks
- Large Pack (~CHF 1000+ Ad Budget): ~3–5 weeks
We adapt the pace depending on targeting performance, ad fatigue, and daily budget optimization.
Can I keep the campaign going if it’s working well?
Absolutely. If you’re seeing results and want to keep building momentum, you can reach out to us directly or book a follow-up package anytime.
Will I see or approve the ad before launch?
To ensure performance, we take full creative responsibility for the ad visual and copy — based on your music, vibe, and campaign goals.
That said, we love when artists share preferences like similar acts, aesthetics, or do’s & don’ts. It helps us get even closer to your voice.
What payment methods do you accept, and is checkout secure?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, and you can securely pay right on our website.
Our checkout process is encrypted and PCI-compliant, meaning your payment information is protected.
In addition, we never charge your card until we’re ready to start your campaign (see our approval policy below). You’ll see the price upfront – no surprises, no hidden fees – and once you confirm, you can trust that your transaction is safe and your data is handled with care.
When will my payment be charged?
Not until your campaign is approved and ready to go. When you place an order, the payment is authorized but we only finalize the charge after we review and accept your song for promotion. If for any reason we decide we can’t run the campaign (for example, if the song can’t be promoted under our guidelines), we simply won’t charge you at all.
This is our zero-risk promise: you either get the promotion you paid for, or you keep your money. There’s no scenario where you pay for a campaign that doesn’t happen.
Are there any hidden fees, or is everything included in the price?
There are no hidden fees. The price you see for each campaign package is the full amount you pay for that service. Everything needed to run the campaign is included – from the actual ad spend on platforms to our creative work (designing the ads, managing the campaign, optimizing performance).
We won’t suddenly ask you to pay extra for anything that was agreed on. If we ever offer an optional add-on service, it’s totally up to you, but the core campaign cost covers all standard aspects of promoting your music. In short, your budget is fully dedicated to getting your music in front of the right listeners.
Is this a one-time purchase or a subscription?
Our campaigns are offered as a one-time purchase – you pay once, and we run the campaign for the duration specified.
There are no recurring or surprise charges. We don’t lock you into any long-term subscriptions or memberships.
Of course, you’re welcome to come back and order new campaigns whenever you want, but that’s entirely up to you and your release schedule. (If we ever do introduce a subscription-based service, it would be clearly labeled as such, but most of our indie artist clients prefer the flexibility of one-off campaigns.)
What kind of results can I expect from a campaign?
While every campaign is a little different, you can expect a noticeable boost in your song’s exposure.
Typically, our advertising campaigns drive a surge of genuine listeners to your track – meaning more streams, an increase in your monthly listeners, and often new followers if people really connect with your music. We focus on reaching an audience that is likely to enjoy your style, so the listeners you gain are more inclined to save your song, add it to their playlists, or follow you for future releases.
Results can vary depending on factors like genre, appeal of the song, Spotify's algorithm, budget, and cost per result (CPR), so we don’t promise “viral overnight fame.”
However, many artists see significant growth in their streaming numbers over the course of the campaign. Our ultimate goal is to deliver real, lasting fan engagement – not just vanity metrics.
How soon will I start seeing results?
Usually, pretty quickly. Once your ads are live, you might start noticing new streams within the first few days.
It can take a bit of time for the campaign to fully ramp up (as the advertising algorithms learn which listeners are responding best), so the first week is often about gathering momentum.
Most artists see a steady increase in traffic and streams throughout the campaign’s run – for example, by the end of week one you should see a clear uptick in your Spotify for Artists stats.
Remember, music promotion is a process, not an instant spike. The growth tends to build over the campaign period, and oftentimes you’ll continue to see residual gains even after the campaign ends, as new fans keep listening and spread the word.
How will I know the campaign is working (do I get reports)?
We believe in total transparency. Once your campaign starts, we’ll provide you with a reporting dashboard or a detailed link that shows how your campaign is performing.
You’ll be able to see key metrics like the number of people who saw the ads, clicked through to your music, and conversion rates (for example, how many listeners actually went on to stream your song).
We’ll also break down where your listeners are coming from (which platforms or countries, depending on the campaign). In addition, you can track the impact on your end – for instance, watch your stream counts and follower numbers in Spotify for Artists or Apple Music for Artists.
We’re also available to walk you through the results or answer any questions. In short, you won’t be left in the dark: you’ll clearly see what’s happening throughout the campaign.
Are the listeners and streams I get real?
Yes – 100% real. Every single listener that comes through our campaign is an actual person who has an interest in your style of music.
We reach them via legitimate ads, not via fake plays or click-farms. We never engage in any practices that violate Spotify’s (or any platform’s) terms of service.
That means you can enjoy the growth knowing it’s organic and authentic. Real listeners are not only safe for your artist account, but they’re also the ones who can become true fans – saving your songs, coming to your shows, and eagerly waiting for your next release. We take your reputation seriously, so we only deliver genuine results.
What if I'm not happy with the results?
Your satisfaction is our priority. If you’re unhappy with how the campaign is going or with the results at the end, let’s talk – we’re on your side.
We will do our best to address your concerns, whether that means adjusting the targeting, extending the campaign, or in certain cases, issuing a partial or full refund. We stand by the quality of our service, so if something falls short of what was promised, we’ll make it right.
Essentially, we’re not here to just take your money; we truly want to help your music grow. If you feel we haven’t delivered on that, we will work with you on a fair resolution (up to and including refunds when justified).
Can I cancel or change my campaign after ordering?
We understand plans can change. You can cancel your campaign before it’s launched and receive a full refund, no questions asked.
If you need to change something (like you decided to promote a different song or you want to adjust the budget), just contact us as soon as possible. If we haven’t started running the ads yet, we’re happy to accommodate changes or process a cancellation/refund.
Once a campaign is already live, changes become trickier (since the ads are out in the wild), but you can still reach out – we might be able to pause or tweak the campaign. In the worst case, if it’s too late to adjust and you’re really unhappy, we’ll discuss a solution with you. We keep things flexible because we know artists sometimes have to pivot quickly.
What if you can’t run my campaign after I’ve paid?
If for any reason we determine we cannot run your campaign (for example, if your song doesn’t meet our guidelines or an ad platform refuses the content), you will not be charged.
In practice, when you place an order, the payment won’t be finalized until we approve the campaign (as mentioned in the payment section). So if we decide to decline the campaign, we immediately void the payment authorization and nothing is taken from your account.
If a charge did go through accidentally, we would refund it in full right away. In short: you’ll never pay for a campaign that doesn’t actually run. We’ll also gladly explain why we couldn’t run it and, if possible, suggest next steps or changes so you could try again in the future.
Do I need to sign any long-term contract or agreement?
Nope. There are no long-term contracts or binding commitments when you work with ZOON Media.
Each campaign you purchase is a standalone service. You’re not locked into a multi-month deal, and you retain the freedom to use our services as needed, when needed.
We earn our keep by delivering great results – not by forcing you into a contract. The terms you agree to are simply the basic service terms for that one campaign (covering things like what we do, what we charge, and the scope of work).
Once the campaign is over, there’s nothing tying you down. Of course, we’re confident you’ll love the experience and maybe come back on your own for future releases, but that’s entirely up to you!
What do I need to provide to start the campaign?
Not much at all! The main thing we need from you is a link to your music – typically your Spotify track or album URL (you can also share Apple Music, YouTube, or other links if relevant).
When you order, we’ll prompt you to provide the song link and a bit of info about your music (genre, similar artists, or any targeting preferences you have).
If you have a specific image or snippet of a video you want us to use in the ad, you can provide that too – but it’s optional. We handle the ad design and setup, so as long as we have your song and your goals, you’re all set.
Many artists just give us the link and trust our expertise to create something eye-catching. It’s a very hands-off process for you, so you can focus on your music while we handle the promotion.
Do I need to give you access to my Spotify or social media accounts?
No, you will never have to share your personal logins or give us control of your artist accounts. We run all campaigns using our own advertising accounts and tools.
For example, for Instagram/Facebook ads, we use our business ad account and our own pages to display the ads (often these look like fan or music curator pages recommending your song).
This means we don’t need permission to post on your profiles or anything like that. Your Spotify artist profile remains entirely yours – we’re just driving traffic to it. Rest assured, you maintain full control of your accounts; we simply act as an external marketing team directing listeners your way.
Do I keep all my music rights and royalties?
Absolutely, yes.
Working with ZOON Media does not require signing over any rights to your music. You retain 100% ownership of your masters, publishing, and everything else.
All the streams you gain through our campaign still earn you royalties as normal (through your distributor or label, just as any organic stream would).
We don’t take a cut of your streaming revenue, and we have zero claim on your music. Our service is purely promotional.
Think of it this way: we’re like a megaphone, amplifying your music to a bigger audience – but you’re the one performing and you own your sound. We’re artists-first, so protecting your rights is a given.
Can you target specific audiences or countries with the ads?
Yes! We use advanced targeting options to make sure your music reaches the right people.
If you have a specific audience in mind – say, fans of a certain genre or similar artist, or listeners in certain countries or cities – we can tailor the campaign to focus on them.
By default, we usually target audiences most likely to enjoy your music, which often includes major English-speaking markets (like the US, UK, Canada, etc.) or countries known for strong music engagement. But we’re flexible: if you only want to target particular regions or if you want to exclude any area, just let us know.
Our goal is to connect you with listeners who will genuinely appreciate your music, wherever they may be. Every campaign is customized for the best results given your genre and goals.
Do I need a music video or any special visuals for the ads?
No, a full music video is not required.
If you have one, that’s great and we can certainly incorporate it or parts of it. But if you don’t, don’t worry at all. We routinely create compelling short video clips or motion graphics using your album art, song audio, and stock footage.
For example, we might take a snippet of your track and set it to a dynamic visual that fits the mood (imagine your cover art with an animated effect, or relevant imagery that suits your genre).
These custom-made clips are optimized to grab attention on social media. Of course, if you have specific visuals or an official video you’d like us to use, you can provide it, but most indie artists we work with simply provide the music and artwork. We’ll make sure the ads look professional and enticing — no extra cost to you, and no extra work needed on your part.
Will this promotion help on platforms other than Spotify (like Apple Music or YouTube)?
Our advertising campaigns are primarily designed to boost your presence on Spotify, since that’s where we see the strongest results for most indie artists.
However, we don’t ignore other platforms. In our campaign setup, we typically use a smart landing page that gives listeners a choice – for instance, when someone clicks your ad, they might see buttons for Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, etc. Most people end up choosing Spotify (it’s the most popular), but if you have a notable audience on another service or you prefer to emphasize a different platform, we can absolutely accommodate that. Just let us know your preferences.
The key is, we want fans to hear your music on their preferred platform. So while Spotify tends to get the spotlight, any increase in streams or followers on other platforms through the campaign is a bonus for you!
